Dolly Diamond


DOLLY DIAMOND is a much-loved personality who is originally from the UK and who has proudly called Australia home since 2009. Dolly has proven herself to be one of the country’s finest comedy cabaret talents and became an Australian citizen in 2014.

Dolly was awarded Artist of the Year at the inaugural GLOBE Community Awards in 2014 in Melbourne. She has also worked with a range of other Victorian LGBTIQ community organisations over the last decade, including the Melbourne Queer Film Festival, Pride March Victoria, Melbourne Rainbow Band and the Melbourne Gay and Lesbian Chorus.

Dolly Diamond was the Artistic Director of the 2017 and 2018 Melbourne Cabaret Festival. She has had successful cabaret seasons part of Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Adelaide Fringe, Fringe World Perth, Melbourne Cabaret Festival, Ballarat Cabaret Festival and Broken Heel Festival.

Dolly presented and produced two highly respected television programs on C31 TV (Digital 44), THE LATE SHOW WITH DOLLY DIAMOND – a variety and late night talk show format; and TO HELL IN A HANDBASKET, which saw her interview an impressive array of her entertainment industry friends including Kate Ceberano, Marina Prior, Eddie Perfect, Caroline O’Connor, Jinkx Monsoon, Rhonda Burchmore, Ella Hooper, Vika and Linda Bull, Denise Scott, Rocky Horror’s Richard O’Brien, Renee Geyer, Virginia Gay and Julia Zemiro.

Dolly is in residence at Social Convention in the summer of 2023!
