Judith Hill
Singer Songwriter

Hill’s preternatural, electrifying presence transforms the sharing of her original compositions on multiple instruments into the conjuring of personal power and a ritual of transcendence. For six weeks, she and Alexander Gedeon will be Artists in Residence at Social Convention, exploring themes of authoritarianism, the inherent violence of pop idolatry, and racial fragmentation and fissure. Their work in development for Social Convention is an exploration in creating a new level of intimacy and equity between performer and audience.
