IN TRANSITION: The Diana Auction
‘My name is Aphrodite the First, and tonight, I’m going on sale!’
Princess Diana Spencer is considered one of the most fashionable women to have ever graced the public eye. From her engagement to Prince Charles in the early 80’s right through to her death in the late 90’s, British tabloids continue to fill their pages, obsessed with talking about her.
Step into HRH Aphrodite I’s pop-up auction, as she sells off some of her very own ‘Princess of Wales’ looks. Turning back to 1980, she’ll offer her own unique insight into the wide and wonderful world of Diana’s wardrobe — and puts them up for sale.
The Diana Auction is an hour-long participatory show about clothes, media scrutiny and death. While Aphrodite puts her frocks up for bid, your job is simple: see what you like and bid like hell ’til you get it.
